Developed and ran a campaign to amend the California Constitution to make zoning and land use municipal affairs, not under State control. The committee cancelled the contract with Storefront Media to manage the campaign to minimize expenses at start of 2024. The committee distributed its message through digital ads, email campaigns, social media, in-house meetings, and webinars. The campaign did not go out for signatures for the 2024 ballot as voted on by our Board, so the initiative was withdrawn from the 2024 ballot. Work is continuing to attempt to get the Initiative on a future ballot, aiming for 2026. Our future plans include rolling out a series of mailers to targeted areas to do important fundraising and growing our supporters.
