The Mennonite Home doing business as Trillium place and woodcrest Villa is a large faith-based non-profit 501(c)(3) continuing care retirement community in lancaster county, pa, providing a continuum of comprehensive services and care appropriate for residential living, personal care and skilled nursing residents. Trillium place serves residents with excellence and compassion, providing both personal care and skilled nursing healthcare options. Secure dementia care units are available in both levels of service. Comprehensive therapy services are provided which include physical, occupational and speech therapies as determined by a physician, ensuring that residents can return to their highest level of function and independence. We provide skilled nursing services in home-like households of 16 to 27 residents. We emphasize individual dignity, self-direction and privacy through our person-centered care philosophy. Woodcrest Villa is our residential living campus, providing apartment and Villa accommodations and a range of services to approximately 701 residents. Volunteers are crucial to providing The comprehensive services our residents need. In The current year, 231 volunteers provided 18,233 hours of service to our residents, representing approximately $273,495 of donated services. Our benevolent care commitment allows us to honor our more than 121-year tradition of caring for financially challenged residents. Last year we provided $4.8 million dollars of uncompensated care to an average of 47 residents per day. Approximately 30% of our personal care and skilled nursing residents need this financial assistance every year.on may 29, 2024, The Mennonite Home proudly announced its rebranding. While The Mennonite Home remains The legal name of The organization, its doing business as name is now tandem living. This rebranding and name change symbolize a new era and reflects The organization's enduring commitment to encourage a vibrant lifestyle along The complete continuum of care to older adults. This strategic shift is aimed at better serving The evolving needs of our residents and The lancaster community.
