Menorah ParkMenorah Park Common Room is a subsidized 151-unit affordable housing complex for seniors located in the Presidio Heights area of San Francisco, California. It is subsidized by the U.S. Department of Urban and Housing Development (HUD). Menorah Park’s mission is to provide affordable housing for seniors in a supportive environment that enables them to live in their own apartments for as long as possible. Menorah Park provides services that address a wide range of physical, emotional, and social needs of our residents.

Program areas at Menorah Park

Menorah Park provides subsidized housing for more than 190 residents in 149 independent living apartments in a single building in san francisco. In addition to housing, Menorah Park provides the services of a russian-speaking social worker and chinese-speaking social worker to our mostly monolingual residents. We also provide social activities onsite and out in the community and a food security program.
Menorah Park grants more than $1 million annually to organizations in the san francisco bay area that work to (1) provide low-income housing to seniors, (2) keep low-income senior housed safely, (3) innovate programs to help low-income housing development, and (4) food security. Our grants are administered through a donor advised fund at the san francisco foundation. The sf foundation provides guidance to the executive director and board of directors on potential grantees.
