Mentor Washington is the unifying leader for expanding quality mentoring relationships for youth in Washington state, collaborating with the private, public and nonprofit sectors so that youth have the support they need to succeed at home, school and ultimately, work. For nearly 20 years, mw has helped start new programs, assisted programs to expand and trained and coached programs in implementing research-based best practices that are essential for attaining positive outcomes for youth. Mw supports approximately 150 local youth mentoring programs. Primary services: training and consultation, quality assurance, marketing for volunteer Mentor recruitment, grant making, and partnerships to incubate innovative program models.
