Mentors provides microloans, grants, scholarships and support and mentoring to people who would otherwise have no access to financial services for their business or education plans. Mentors provides education and business specific tools such as calculators and computers.
Mentors provides grants, scholarships and support/mentoring to those who would otherwise have no access to financial or mentorship services to further their education or professional development goals. Mentors has a well-constructed program through which Mentors and mentees work together from the application/nomination process through the completion of the work plan. Mentors foundation staff and the Mentors maintain consistent, direct involvement with the mentees throughout the funded period. Both the Mentors and the mentees have program requirements that involve consistent contact, support, as well as reporting requirements to the Mentors executive director in order to ensure accountability and adherence to the program. Mentors foundation is a partnership with shared responsibilities between the mentee, the mentor, and the foundation.
