With a sense of dignity, respect and love, volunteers pedal through the streets of sacramento and start conversations with members of our community who often feel invisible, and, with humanity and compassion, introduce available services to people who may be reluctant to seek help on their own.the medical safe haven at dignity health methodist hospital of sacramentomercy Foundation is proud to support the medical safe haven, which helps victims navigate out of trafficking and find a path to healing and recovery and become survivors. This vital health care ministry saves and improves the lives of hundreds of women, men, and children each year. Generous donations help provide a caring medical staff and support team who provide comprehensive medical and behavioral health care, including patient care visits, transportation, medications, lab work and more. This important program helps some of the most vulnerable women and children in our community and beyond.the lucchetti anderson cardiovascular center at Mercy general hospitalmercy Foundation announced exciting plans to create the lucchetti anderson cardiovascular center, a new, world-class, patient-centered cardiovascular center at Mercy general hospital. Opening in late summer 2024, this project is made possible in large part from a generous lead gift of $3 million from the lucchetti and anderson families. Their gift will help provide cardiovascular patients in our region with a new and robust patient-centered health care experience and help improve patient access to clinical care providers and hospital services.
