Meriter Hospital, Inc. is a 448-bed community Hospital focused on delivering quality care and patient safety. Meriter provides solutions to many community health care needs, and provides the region's only available child and adolescent psychiatry services, and sexual assault nurse examiner services. This occurs through all specialties for individuals and in group settings such as individual health education sessions with a nurse practitioner for women managing their heart disease, offering group sessions on the latest advancements for treatments of osteoarthritis, and educational programs for pregnant parents attending childbirth education programs. Meriter clinic's providers also offer various educational talks and screening opportunities as part of community programs/events each year. Meriter's adult primary care clinics include diabetes management services through a team consisting of endocrinologists, program service accomplishments: certified diabetes educators, dietitian and health psychologist.
