Metairie Park Country Day School (MPCDS)

Metairie Park Country Day School's primary function is providing a comprehensive nonsectarian education to students in pre-k through twelth grade. The School is organized into three separate divisions: a lower School, middle School, and upper School. The lower School offers pre-kindergarten through fifth grade, while the middle School offers grades six through eight, and the upper School offers grades nine through twelve. Each School provides after School activities that cater specifically to the ages of the enrolled students. The lower School offers an after-school Day care as well as an after-school homework clinic and other enrichment courses. Both the middle and upper schools offer students a wide range of extracurricular activities including athletic programs, music development programs , and community service programs. A total of 748 students were enrolled for the 2022-2023 School year, 167 of whom received financial assistance from the School. The School also has an early childhood division for children six weeks up to 4 years of age, and the total enrolled in this program were 120 children.
