Helping hands provides direct financial assistance to employees facing unusual circumstances and barriers. Money is often spent on basic needs such as food, rent, and bills. Employees typically apply after an unforseen life event such as a car accident or missing prolonged time from work.
The capital campaign fund provides financial support for the Health systems capital needs and priorities. During the 2023 fiscal year, this involved funding the efforts, equipment, and renovations to help launch the open heart surgery program.
The 2023 vitality gala is a black-tie fundraiser highlighting cardiac services at university of Michigan health-west. Proceeds from sponsorship and donations will go to support the greatest needs of the organization.
