The collaborative work of professional Equity actors, directors and designers results in productions representing the highest artistic standards. MetroStage presents original, challenging, innovative work and is recognized for its role in the development of new plays and musicals for the American stage. Its work reflects the diversity of the Washington DC population. The intimacy of its small 130-seat theatre offers both the audience and the artists a unique, powerful theatre experience. The theatre also serves other nonprofits in the community with free tickets and the use of the theatre space for special events.
