Program areas at Miami Children's Museum
Over 435,000 people visited Miami Children's Museum in fy24. Offerings included interactive exhibits, public programming and outreach activities related to arts, culture science and the south Florida community. Formal educational programs include the early childhood institute (eci), a naeyc accredited preschool, and the Miami Children's Museum charter school(mcmcs), an a rated mdcps which together served 400 children daily. The Museum also provides after school programming for 360 children daily at five partner schools located in lmi communities from goulds to Miami gardens and 120 children in after school programming at the Museum. The Museum provides camp programming in the summer, during winter and spring break, and on other days when school is not in session. The Museum proudly engaged children of all abilities and backgrounds by providing an inclusive environment that ensures high quality, hands-on programming for chldren of all abilities. The Museum serves children and fmailies, locally and internationally on site, in the community and through its vast array of digital programs.
