Michael S. Hollins Foundation is organized to provide financial support to a variety of 501(c)(3) charitable organizations. The Foundation raises revenue for its exempt activities through contributions and investment type activities. The revenue from the investment activities includes income from investments such as interest and dividend income, capital gains and losses, and ordinary & rental real estate income from these investments. At times certain investments produce losses from operations. Unusual circumstances and market influences may result in losses. The Foundation's trustees make all possible attempts to avoid investment losses. Unfortunately 2020 income from rental activities suffered losses in the current year as a result of pandemic issues related to covid-19. When such losses do occur, the Foundation reports those losses for the current year in column (e) of part xvi-a and explained in part xvi-b that these investments are the primary means by which it accomplishes its ch
