To promote and support by donation, scholarship, loan or otherwise the education and training of the public and individuals in the skills and business of broadcasting. 23 mabf scholarships were awarded during 2023 to 23 students.
Hall of fame & lifetime achievement awards
The great lakes broadcast & sports media academy hosted 896 students and provided educational sessions related to broadcasting careers, career fairs, and career networking with industry professionals.
Career fair hosting approximately 1231 students and business minded professionals, giving them a chance to meet and network with broadcast professionals representing approximately 85 different broadcasting companies and stations.
