The early literacy/mathematics professional learning grant provides professional learning opportunities and develops networks for coaches, Administrators, and early childhood specialists across our state that are focused on the literacy and math essential practices and organizational practices.
Michigan is one of 20 states selected by the u.s. department of health and human services to receive the preschool development grant - birth through five (pdg b-5) renewal grant, a competitive federal grant designed to improve states' early childhood landscape by building on existing federal, state, and local early care and learning investments.
The Association provides support to its membership through working relationships with the Michigan department of education, office of the governor, the Michigan legislature, as well as other public education associations.
