The Michigan Interscholastic Press Association provides a forum for the interchange of oral and written ideas pertaining to school publications and offers various conferences and workshops to aid in the publishing of such materials. MIPA is dedicated to providing a framework within which Michigan students can excel in journalism. A summer workshop attracted 114 students, but due to the ongoing impact of the pandemic, the organization did not run the fall conference program or introduce new online course offerings for its members.
