Michigan Sportsmen Against Hunger

The organization pays processing fees to local Michigan meat processors. The processed wild game is then picked up and delivered to Michigan food banks and soup kitchens. The organization also holds food drives across the state for regional food banks. The following is a summary of the venison distribution activity of the organization for 2023: contracted with 33 different wild game processors processors were located in 26 Michigan counties produced 113,491 pounds of ground venison burger processed venison was distributed to 109 different pantries, food banks and shelters in Michigan creatig up to 453,964 hot nourishing meals for the hungary of our Michigan communities
