Program areas at MUCC

Resource program staff monitor governmental, industrial, military, and legislative service providing information relating to Conservation and environmental matters to the Michigan legislature, governor's office and state of Michigan, and federal agencies. Informs members and the public regarding developments and issues on the Conservation front. Engages in environmental litigation to protect Michigan's natural resources. Serves as the official Michigan affiliate of the national wildlife federation.
One-week themed outdoor activities engaging youth in overnight and day camp experiences. Education opportunities focus on environmental Conservation, ecology, wildlife and outdoor activities. 225 youth registered during the seven weeks of program operation in 2023.
Michigan out-of-doors publication this is a publication supplied to approximately 9,000 members in print 12,000 digitally (quarterly average) and which is devoted to Conservation and outdoor recreation.
