Emphasis is on giving each Individual only as much service as is necessary to maintain as independent a lifestyle as possible. Teaching and supports are directed toward achieving Individual preferences in skills such as financial management, health and safety, personal growth, community living and communciation. Environments can range from limited supervision/support to full-time assistance.
Contractscontracts are piece rate work that typically is conducted at Mid-Nebraska Individual Services, Inc. Locations. Mid-Nebraska Individual Services, Inc. contracts with outside businesses to provide labor for a variety of tasks, which usually involves small assembly projects. The individuals gain skills from completing meaningful tasks and the businessess gain an economical work force. The Mid-Nebraska Individual Services, Inc. programs in oxford and holdrege also are engaged in recycling activities.
