Middle Way House empowers survivors of domestic abuse, sexual violence, and human trafficking through a wide range of supportive services and advocacy. Crisis intervention services are provided on-site, and advocates can report to area locations such as IU Health Bloomington Hospital, the Bloomington Police Department, and more. The transitional housing program offers housing for 37 women and 77 children while also providing ongoing advocacy case management to 37 families. Additionally, 57 children receive weekly homework/mentoring sessions.

Program areas at Middle Way House

Domestic violence program: provided emergency shelter to 94 women and 58 children; 24-hour crisis line to callers; legal advocacy and support to 6,432 callers.
Legal program: filed 68 protective orders and monitored 1,231 court cases. Served 272 new clients and 30 continuing clients.
Transitional housing program: provided housing for 37 women and 77 children; provided ongoing advocacy case management to 37 families; provided 57 children with weekly homework/mentoring sessions.
Crisis intervention services provides on-site supportive services and advocacy to survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, and human trafficking. Advocates can report to area locations such as iu health bloomington hospital, the bloomington police department and the monroe county clerk's office as well as at Middle Way House. In addition to these on-site services the crisis intervention services program operates and oversees Middle Way's 24-hour crisis line. Crisis intervention coordinators facilitate peer-led support groups to survivors of sexual violence and incest. All of these services are provided free of charge to the survivors.
