The Midnight Run, Inc. is a consortium of more than 100 churches, synagogues and schools in the ny metropolitan area. Three or four nights a week, volunteers travel into manhattan; there they seek out the homeless poor. They deliver clothing, food, blankets and personal care items; they engage the homeless poor in conversation. In addition to addressing the material needs of the homeless, mignight Run tries to break down barriers between people.
