Program areas at Midtown Family Services
Reentry Services: Housing for persons returning to the community from incarceration in a California State Prison. Running average of 75 persons housed for 12 months each over course of year. Clients supported with case management during year.
Neighborhood Services:Recognizing that self-sufficiency in housing is interdependent with self-sufficiency in many other areas of life, Midtown Family Services' housing specialist, employment coach, attorney, social worker, financial coach, and service coordinator, use basic tools including credit reports, budgeting worksheets, work interest profiler, work history compiler, self-sufficiency matrices, review of criminal records, among others to help our neighbors at risk of losing housinng understand what is contributing to their housing instability. We then help them create plans to find and apply for resources to move forward.
