Program areas at Midwest Brain Injury Clubhouse

At MBIC, the strengths and abilities of the members contribute to the combined success of all the members and the Clubhouse as a whole. Members work with volunteers and staff members to complete individual tasks on a daily basis and participate in group projects regularly that are required to facilitate the day-to-day operations. Due to COVID-19, staff and volunteers facilitated video conferences with the members on a regular basis to continue working together with the members and providing them with regular tasks that they could perform remotely within the four work units: Business, Employment, Health & Wellness, and Community Integration. Working together remotely strengthened their skills and provided a continued sense of purpose.
