Mighty Writers empowers kids to succeed in work, home, and life by teaching them to think and write with clarity. The organization provides free year-round writing programs to over 3,500 students each year. In response to the pandemic, Mighty Writers launched a food-literacy distribution program in addition to their youth development programs which include quality workshops, out-of-school writing instruction, and mentorship opportunities. Program areas at Mighty Writers

The youth development program provides free, year-round programs including: quality workshops, out-of-school writing instruction and mentorship opportunities. All programs are free to participants.
The on the road program brings Mighty Writers workshops to partner locations in multiple communities. The program is comprised of a wide variety of relevant and engaging workshop themes.
The lunch and literacy program - in response to the coronavirus pandemic, Mighty Writers expanded its mission to launch a food-literacy distribution program, providing needed meals to families struggling as a result of the pandemic.
A range of workshops help teens prepare for the future by offering skills training they'll need to move forward. College essay nights brings teens together with volunteers for one-on-one mentoring to create the perfect application
