Mind Matters Clinic

The organization to date has diagnosed/treated over 1,675 individiuals from the surrounding rural areas, coordinating with local schools and agencies and providing services for free or at a reduced cost. Although Mind Matters serves all ages, 46% of clients are between the ages of 6-12 years old, with the next largest group being 18 years and above, making up 30% of the total clients served. Most of the organization's clients have multiple diagnoses, but the largest primary diagnosis is for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and attention deficit disorder [adhd] with autism spectrum disorder [asd] as the second primary diagnosis. All of the organization's patients see either dr. thompson or dr. simons before seeing one of the organization's counselors and/or participating in one of their educational learning programs. Fast forward, Mind builder, cogmed and social skills all serve to improve the performance of those with learning disabilities.
