Mind Shift recruits, assesses, trains and employs individuals with autism spectrum disorder and similar conditions through its mission. Its self-sustaining model allows businesses to benefit from the detail-oriented skills of people on the autism spectrum, while providing meaningful and sustainable employment. Mind Shift is also driving the nationwide expansion of the proven international job creation and employment concept, Specialisterne ("the specialists"). It assesses, trains and employs individuals with autism as consultants in information technology and other sectors.

Program areas at Mind Shift

Reflecting on social media growth and future initatives (2024): Mind Shift conducted an audit of our social media channels in November 2022, revealing opportunities for enhanced effectiveness. During 2023, we began building our brand awareness across social media channels. This work has not only helped us build our Search Engine Optimization but also made it much easier for people to learn about the great things Mind Shift is doing. This groundwork built the foundation for our 2024 Initiatives focusing on continuing to build our Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and expanding our presence across social media channels. Stay tuned for more blog posts, reels, and informative content on these platforms in 2024. Mind Shift operates as a non-profit and we rely on our generous donors to assist us with preparing individuals who are on the autism spectrum for the world of work. Our Mind Shift process provides this training at no cost to the candidates. The cost per person of preparing an individual average is $4,750. We reviewed our Giving Strategic Plan in 2023 and will implement various Giving campaigns in 2024.
