Program areas at Minnesota Chapter Federal Bar Association

Monthly membership meetings - the mn Chapter of the fba hosted nine monthly membership meetings from september 1, 2022 through august 31, 2023. These meetings each included a different speaker, or panel of speakers, who discussed a topic relevant to the membership and provided continuing legal education credit for those who attended.
Pro se project - the pro se project is a collaboration between the Minnesota district court and the Minnesota Chapter of the Federal Bar Association to improve access to justice in our Federal courts and to address the growing challenges civil pro se litigants pose to our Federal judicial system. The goal of the pro se project is to provide civil pro se litigants with an opportunity to have a meaningful consultation with a volunteer lawyer. The pro se project matched all willing and eligible litigants with volunteer attorneys for cases ranging from employment disputes to civil rights.
