Program areas at Minnesota Police and Peace Officers Association

During 2022 we held our annual convention in june at arrowwood resort in alexandria mn. New board members were elected. Our february legislative conference was held in duluth mn after 2 years of doing it virtually due to the pandemic. We monitored legislation at the state and national level that affects Police Officers and their families. We informed our members on important relevant issues and encouraged them to communicate with their elected representatives. We published four issues of the Minnesota Police journal that informed our members on current professional topics and issues. We continued to sponsor quarterly president's meetings to communicate more effectively with members unions. We coordinated public relations and legislatvie lobbying efforts in response to the current climate for law enforcement in Minnesota.
