Education and training: mssa's education and training programs provide affordable, high-quality continuing education opportunities for health and human services professionals mssa hosts an annual training conference and expo each march in minneapolis that brings together over 3,500 health and human Service professionals for three days of training in addition, seven, one-day regional conferences are held throughout the state mssa works diligently to ensure educational opportunities that cover a vast array of health and human Service topics, include emerging and best practices, and feature both local and national speakers.
Member services: mssa's goal is to ensure our member professionals are exceptional, to do that mssa provides their membership, of over 3,500 health and human services professionals, with the connection and support they need to be the best in the health and human services field this includes an awards program (both regional and statewide), a scholarship program, an online career center, and various communications-from weekly emails to newsletters to Social media.
Public policy and advocacy: as a membership Association of over 3,500 health and human Service professionals, mssa's public policy strengths include a large and diverse membership, with subject matter expertise across the field, geographical diversity that covers all legislative districts, members form the public, private, and non-profit sectors that enable us to view health and human Service programs from all angles.
