Minnesota Solar Energy Industries Association (MNSEIA)

Mnseia is a 501(c)(6) trade Association that serves to move Minnesota Solar and storage forward as the voice of the Minnesota solarindustry. Representing over 170 member companies, Mnseia pursues its mission to grow Solar Energy Industries as part of Minnesota's clean Energy transition by delivering strong public policy, education, job creation and sustainable industry development. Mnseia pursues its policy work through active engagements at the Minnesota legislature, the Minnesota public utilities commission, and in other various agency matters. During the 2023 legislative session, Mnseia advocated for policies to continue to grow and support Solar + storage Energy in Minnesota, including bills for an extension for solarrewards incentive program with xcel Energy, increased investment in the Minnesota department of commerce's Solar for schools program, creation of a Solar on public buildings grant program, modernizing Minnesota's community Solar garden program, and various grants for Solar + Energy storage projects throughout Minnesota.

In 2023 Mnseia produced its 10th annual 2-day "gateway to Solar" conference. Over 575 Solar industry practitioners representing 290 companies from across the u.s. Attended for robust and in-depth policy and topical insights, training, and business networking. Proceeds from the conference help support Mnseia's regulatory and policy advocacy.
