CIVIC ENGAGEMENT-Nonpartisan education and outreach to community members about how to vote, levels of government, and ways to make change in their communities
PLANNING & COORDINATION-We support coalition partners in creating strategy and plans for implementing voter engagement programs. We host convenings, keep coordinated actions calendar, and manage turf for our partners to support collaboration and avoid duplicating efforts.
GOTV-A civic engagement effort leading up to Election Day specifically focused on turning out the vote via community outreach (canvassing, phone calls, messaging, transportation to polls, etc.).
Training & Leadership Development: Internally offer opportunities for staff enrichment; externally provide training resources for leadership development and education re: nonpartisan voter engagement basics (how to conduct a phone bank, candidate education event, voter registration drive, etc.).
