Our organization held an in-person annual members meeting in copenhagen in october 2023. It was attended by 404 members from 20 countries. We also held a virtual component at the same time to increase accessibility to our members who were unable to attend the in-person forum. Both of these events provided opportunities for service and shared learning.our organization held a training of new Trainers held in copenhage prior to the annual members meeting. The training new Trainers is dedicated to training the best practice in training Motivational Interviewing. There were 120 Trainers from 7 countries who attended and qualified to become members of our organization, taking our total membership to 1557 residing in 46 countries.

The trainer certification program recognizes members of Mint who have demonstrated a high level of excellence as a Motivational Interviewing trainer through the ability to provide high-quality training of Motivational Interviewing based on the most current language, effective teaching techniques and course content as measured by the Motivational Interviewing trainer assessment and development tool (mi-tad), a rating scale developed to measure mi training competency. In 2022 there was 1 member who successfully completed the fee-based application cycle.
