Here's a detailed overview of our achievements:immigration assistance program:- Mira USA, accredited by the u.s. department of justice since april 1, 2021, stands as a beacon of support for low-income individuals navigating immigration legal matters, offering assistance to 868 individuals.- hosted a series of comprehensive, free educational workshops covering citizenship, civic education, u.s. history and government, and adherence to the constitution, empowering participants with invaluable knowledge to navigate the complex immigration process effectively. Financial education & personal development:- empowered 1,640 individuals through 40 meticulously organized events designed to enhance financial stability among immigrant communities.- in a significant step forward, our volunteers underwent rigorous training conducted by the federal deposit insurance company fdic in 2023, enabling them to seamlessly integrate the money smart methodology into our program.- informed participants with essential insights into credit management, banking practices, prudent money management strategies, and savings techniques, thereby enabling them to make informed financial decisions and elevate their overall financial well-being. Global alliance program:- through our collaborative "saving lives" alliance with the american red cross, Mira USA made substantial strides in disaster response and prevention, benefiting 1,573 individuals through 21 impactful events.- in partnership with the american red cross, our dedicated volunteers actively participated in nationwide fire alarm installation activities, playing a pivotal role in potentially saving thousands of lives.these accomplishments transcend mere statistics, embodying the tangible impact Mira USA has had on immigrant communities nationwide. Our unwavering commitment to providing essential services has not only addressed immediate needs but has also nurtured a sense of belonging, empowerment, and community engagement among immigrants. Through our collective efforts, we've contributed to cultivating an inclusive and supportive environment where immigrants thrive and actively contribute to the fabric of society.youth leadership program:engaged 89 young professionals in a learning platform that provided resources and opportunities for professional development.focused on fostering leadership skills and diverse experiences among youth to empower them as future leaders in their communities.
