Misfit Angels Rescue rescues and rehabilitates unwanted and discarded dogs in our community by pulling them from high kill shelters. Our mission is to provide full vetting including spay/neuter, all vaccines, microchips, and any other vetting the dog may need including heartw. Our programs include Community Outreach Spay/Neuter and Emergency vetting.

Program areas at Misfit Angels Rescue

In 2023 Misfit Angels rescued 175 dogs, spayed/neutered, major medical, and many were heartworm positive, spending just under $160k on the dogs and their needs. We had 16 outreach dogs, 19 tnr cats, that we also spayed/neutered to help reduce the ever growing population of animals mainly large and xl dogs in inner cities of detroit and flint. Several dogs were pulled from shelters were hospice dogs and lived out their lives in foster homes while we provided any/all care needed.
