Program areas at Mission Marshall
Adult education - jobs for life teaches work ethics, integrity, building a resume, interviewing skills, and many others. Every student is provided a job coach to help them along their path. Faith & finances provides students with financial awareness based on biblical principles.
Literacy programs - read-to-ride provides a new bicycle to every Marshall isd third grade student who meets the reading challenge. Imagination library is a program for preschool children who live within the Marshall isd boundaries. In 2023 we added waskom independent school district and elysian fields independent school district to the read to ride initiative.we continue to sponsor dolly parton imagination library. Every child enrolled receives one age-appropriate book per month, from birth to age five. 6 little libraries are located throughout town to facilitate reading accessibility.
Mission Marshall has cooperative agreements with the east Texas foodbank to provide fresh produce to families in harrison and marion countywho are in need. Additionally, Mission Marshall supplies non-perishablegrocery items, frozen meat, and miscellaneous refrigerated food items to approximately 850 households a month through our food pantry programs.about 8,600 individuals are served by Mission Marshall each year
