Program areas at Mission Plasticos
United States - Reshaping Lives America - 2022 has continued to be a time of growth for Mission Plasticos. The program provides reconstructive surgical care to uninsured and underinsured patients in the United States living below the poverty line across the United States. Reshaping Lives Full Circle, the first nationwide program providing no-cost breast reconstructive surgery for post-mastectomy women living in poverty is also a part of this program. The enthusiasm for these programs is evidenced by the outpouring of support from board certified surgeons volunteering their time and talents. This program is year round and to date, over 1,000 patients have received life-changing care and medical tattoos. Through our media campaigns we have reached over 1.7 million households.
