Mission Safety International promotes safety, security, and operational excellence within the mission aviation community and related agencies. Its efforts include safety seminars and audits led by volunteer aviation experts who travel to strategic locations around the world to share their knowledge. Program areas at Mission Safety International

Safety seminars and audits are an integral part of MSI's efforts to promote safety, security, and operational excellence. Volunteers who are experts in various fields of aviation travel with MSI personnel to strategic locations around the world to share their wisdom and experience and to demonstrate and promote safe practices. Activities included seminars and audits in 14 states and 5 countries. This year we were able to expand our seminar audiences worldwide via YouTube, Facebook, and Zoom. In addition to the expenses above, volunteers donated time and expenses valued at $118,858.
Publications and communications: as information is gathered through research, MSI passes it on through publications and communications via all means possible. Our free newsletters and publications are widely distributed and mailed all over the world to over 25 countries,. Over 3000 people receive them on a quarterly basis. In addition to the expenses above, volunteers donated time and expenses valued at $10,400.
Research, accident investigation and consulting are also key activities as we try to determine causes of accidents and how to prevent them. Field research on current attitudes, best practices, industry standards, trends, and safety information is necessary to assist our member organizations maintain safe operations. In addition to the expenses above, volunteers donate time and expenses valued at $14,857.
Other program services include participation in special events such as EAA AirVenture and Smoketown Aviation Fair where MSI promotes safety in missionary aviation to a broad audience. In addition to their noted expenses, volunteers donate time and expenses valued at $4,457.
