The Cambridge Nonprofit Coalition advances equity and justice in the community by strengthening the Cambridge nonprofit sector, building collective voice, and promoting collaboration. The Cambridge Nonprofit Coalition envisions a city where all community members have equitable access to opportunities and resources, and where the nonprofit sector is a valued partner in leading social change that addresses historical injustice, levels the playing field, and improves our community.
Core Mental Health is currently focused on supporting efforts around mental health, and racial equity. To achieve outcomes in these areas, Core Mental Health provides funding to local organizations, and supports learning communities. In 2022, CORE did not sub-grant to smaller organizations, rather worked directly with partner organizations and their contributors.
The mission of Cambridge Volunteer Clearinghouse (CVC) is to strengthen civic life in Cambridge by championing local volunteer opportunities and supporting an effective and inclusive volunteer corps. We help streamline your search for a short- or long-term volunteer engagement. We help you get out the word about upcoming volunteer needs and connect you with specialized volunteers. We also convene periodic conversations for agency staff regarding volunteer management. Our Volunteer Managers Advisory Council helps us closely align our work with agency priorities.
