Program areas at Missions on Wheels

Missions on Wheels (mow) provides bunkhouse and shower trailers for the use of relief workers responding to natural disasters. These are made available at little or no cost; as a result more relief donations are available for the relief work that's desperately needed. The main components of mow's work are disaster response/relief immediately following a natural disaster, and ongoing long-term disaster recovery. Immediate response: in september of 2023, tropical storm idalia caused significant damage in northern Florida. Mow quickly relocated one trailer for temporary relief until the state set up a "disaster camp" to support workers with federal and state tax dollars. That trailer returned to fort myers ready for future deployment. For more information, see sch. O
