Program areas at Mississippians Against Human Trafficking
Mississippians Against Human Trafficking (msaht) continued its mission in 2023 to promote awareness of Human Trafficking and provide needed support and resources for survivors in conjunction with community partners. Specifically, msaht implemented an independent living assistance program to provide monetary support for housing and emergency needs to those who have completed a Human Trafficking program, aged out of foster care, or are at risk of trafficking.msaht continued its support of the only Human Trafficking shelter in the state through monetary donations, landscaping, and special projects.public awareness events, including speeches and community activities, were organized by msaht as part of its efforts to raise public awareness. Msaht spoke to numerous groups across the state of Mississippi and had tables and booths set up at relevant conferences.
