Instruction and academic support Missouri Valley College (mvc) takes great pride in offereing a four-year, highly personnalized education, offering over 40 majors including pre-professional programs. The College continues to expand technology for teaching and learning. The 2022-2023 student enrollment included full-time fall: 1,234, part-time fall: 289, full-time spring: 1,127, part-time spring: - 276, full-time summer 5; part-time -summer 243. The nursing program used donated space in the local hospital for instruction and practium activities. The fair rental value totalled $36,000.
Mvc offered 19 sports and 30 varsity teams during the 2022-2023 school year. The men's rodeo team won its seventh straight ozark region title, the cheer team won a seventh straight heart of america athletic conference championship, men's soccer team won the heart of america regular season title, and the esports team won the nace starleague open plus division ii call of duty and cs:go titles. Men's and women's soccer, men's and women's wrestling, shooting sports, men's and women's lifting teams, men's track and field, and men's rodeo and women's rodeo teams all competed at their respective national championship events. A record 104 student-athletes were naia scholar athletes.
Student service activities - student involvement is vital to the overall College experience. Mvc has 28 clubs and student organizations where students have the opportunity to enrich their leadership skills, social life and personal gorwth. Mvc offers a number of services to help meet students' needs through the student health center, which normally services around 450 students per semester, a counseling center and a fitness center. In addition, mvc offers a variety of intramural events, with over 600 participants, and a variety of other activities including shuttle service to local businesses and regional airports. In addition, the student success center provides resources to support the students' academic success, personal growth, and career development. A beginning student orientation program is required for all incoming students. This orientation is a sixteen-week program centered on civility, development of critical thinking skills, team building, communications skells, acceptance, and the importance of continued education in the global mindset.
