Funded a full season of performances of contemporary music in New York City, across the USA, and abroad including live, online and hybrid events. Approximately 41 public performances, including the creation of several high-quality videos of performances that are available free and on-demand online. Mivos also recorded and released recordings by composers JG Thirlwell and Mary Halvorson.
Selected and awarded the annual Mivos/Kanter prize winner, featuring a promising American composer in performance of their work in New York City along with a modest honorarium. The latest winner was Ingrid Laubrock.
Participated in 5 educational residencies at universities and festivals with a major student component, working with over 55 student composers and musicians in master classes, open rehearsals, premiere performances and recordings.
