Developed and launched a new website (https://surveillancemonitor.org) to provide access to educational resources, research reports, and self-service surveillance monitoring software research tools. Developed digital privacy investigation software tools including visual analytics charts for journalists and civil society researchers to show the prevalence of cybersecurity attacks and commercial spyware used to target global at-risk groups such as journalists, politicians, and activists. These efforts required purchasing software licenses from web hosting and software service providers, web and software development, software design, procurement of domain name, and procuring technical support services. This project also included travel to meetings with software vendors and service providers.
