Mobile Meals of Southern Arizona

Mobile Meals of Southern Arizona (mmsa) delivers regular and special diet Meals to older adults and people living with disabilities in pima county who are unable to cook or shop for themselves. In fiscal year 2023, mmsa delivered 115,734 Meals to 845 clients. Mmsa partnered with 9 local healthcare facilities to prepare two Meals per day for each client. Over 250 volunteers deliver the Meals on 38 daily routes, monday through friday. These deliveries provide essential nutrition but also serve a vital social and safety function. Volunteers offer friendly interaction and a dependable connection to the community, combating social isolation and loneliness. Mmsa successfully completed the renovation and opening of its corporate offices and commercial kitchen at the end of fy 2023.
