Program areas at Monroe County Sheltercare
Provides group home services and supervision to at risk youth. The group home is an eight bed co-ed home for youth ages 10 to 17 and is staffed 24 hours per day. Supervision provided youths at their home with daily contact in order to allow them to stay in their residence.
Provides contracted counseling and aoda services for individuals referred by the County.
Provide advocacy and support services for victims of domestic abuse and sexual assault. Also, provides outreach and community education in school and local community groups to prevent domestic abuse. The staff strives to reduce domestic violence and sexual assault in the communities served through education and collarboration with other local agencies.
