Providing Access to Abortion care. During the 22-23 fiscal year, maap protected and fostered reproductive autonomy by providing Access to Abortion care through financial, logistical and emotional support. Maap received 324 applications for service. Maap supported all applicants in accessing Abortion care by providing connections to clinics, support in talking to their health insurance provider, and navigating social and community support. Maap provided financial support through direct payments to clinics for 226 of those who applied totaling $71,436.in june of 2023 the organization changed its name from the susan wicklund fund, inc to Montana Abortion Access Program to make the organization and its services easier to find online.
