Miscellaneous posse programs -- The organization uses its facilities to conduct roping, team penning, cattle sorting and other exhibitions for horsemen in the Central California region. The facilities are one of the few in the tri-county area, and serve as a promotion of the Junior and California Rodeos.The organization also conducts a number of rodeos, carnivals and concerts throughout the year.The posse permitted local 4H groups with over 100 children to use the facilities.The organization administers an annual scholarship for higher education for a local youth with demonstrated economic need and a college major in law enforcement, agriculture, or animal husbandry.The facilities are an integral part of horse and sensitivity training for the Monterey County Sheriff's Mounted Search and Rescue Team. This organization has members consisting of volunteers of the posse, as well as deputies employed by the Monterey County Sheriff's Department.Monterey County Elections Department has used the facilities as the polling location for the local precinct for elections.The organization allows the State of California High School District 4 to use the facilities for hundreds of Central California high school students participating in high school rodeos that are held several times throughout the year.Lastly, over 100 employees and volunteers of the Monterey County Sheriff's Department used the unique facilities for training and meetings during 2017..
Junior Rodeo -- The organization conducts an annual Children's Rodeo with entrants from age 1 to 18. Approximately 200 children participate each year, and approximately 400 spectators and participants attend. The Children's Rodeo is open to the public and admission is free.
