Program areas at TMA
We have provided quality Montessori education for approximately 212 children ranging in age from 2 months to 12 years old. During the 2022-23 school year The Montessori Academy strengthened communication and collaboration between upper and lower elementary teachers to create more consistency across programs. Lessons and materials from lower elementary are now available to students in upper elementary to allow continued practicing and mastering skills introduced in lower elementary.
The Montessori Academy provided a summer Montessori program for approximately 115 students. During the 2023 summer program The Montessori Academy elementary students delved more deeply into their enrichment activities including art, music, gardening, science, and drama, providing for multifaceted approaches to these topics. Children in infant through early childhood continued their learning that is practiced throughout the school year, ensuring continued growth in all academic and social development.
We have provided before and after school care for approximately 94 children. The Montessori Academy offered a broader choice of activities to all ages of children that participate in before and after school care.
