Program areas at Moraine Valley Community College Foundation

Fine and performing arts - the Foundation provides on-going financial support for the Moraine Valley Community College fine and performing arts center. This support plays a crucial role in program underwriting and on-going maintenance at the center. The arts center is a central resource of Moraine Valley Community College which hosts performances by regional and national professional companies in dance, music, and theater for cultural and artistic enrichment in the southwestern suburbs.
Student emergency assistance - through contributions of various individual donors the Foundation has implemented an emergency financial assistance program for Moraine Valley Community College students who might otherwise be forced to stop or drop out of school. Donations of various individuals are used to pay the expenses of Moraine Valley Community College students that are confronted with extraordinary personal living expenses that if not paid on an immediate basis would likely result in that student not being able to continue their education at the College. Financial assistance is granted to students on a case by case basis by the recomendation of the College after a review of each students circumstances surrounding the request for assistance.
Scholarships - the Foundation provides funding and administers various academic scholarship programs for students of Moraine Valley Community College. Scholarships are merit based and need based, and are offered college-wide or designated to provide support through a specific program or department.
Automotive program - the Foundation provides direct financial support through donations in kind to the Moraine Valley Community College automotive technology career program. Donors to the Foundation contribute vehicles to the Foundation which are then given to the automotive technology College program.
Faculty association - the Moraine Valley Community College Foundation assists the fundraising efforts of the Moraine Valley Community College faculty association who raises funds to support student scholarships for Moraine Valley Community College students to ensure access to quality education and student success.
Foundation sponsorships - the Foundation regularly provides Moraine Valley Community College ongoing support that benefit and promote increased awareness and brand building for the Moraine Valley Community College.
Build a choir library - this program supports the Moraine Valley Community College choral program by providing audience members with opportunities to underwrite individual songs preformed by the choir throughout the performing season. The funds from this program have supported the continued growth of the colleges choral program.

These practical experiences not only educate students but also prepare them to consider further education and careers in health care, addressing the future workforce needs.
Mainstage performancee - the Moraine Valley Community College Foundation provides an opportunity for attendees to the Moraine Valley fine and performing arts center professional series performance to provide financial support for program underwriting and on-going maintenance at the center. The arts center is a central resource of Moraine Valley Community College which hosts performances by regional and national professional companies in dance, music, and theater for cultural and artistic enrichment in the southwestern suburbs.
Project care - the Moraine Valley foundationgrants funds for the expansion of the Moraine Valley Community College food pantry. The grant funds supported construction of the space, equipment, shelving, supplies and food to create a full-service food pantry for Moraine Valley students and Community members.
Psychology department - the Moraine Valley Community College Foundation established this fund through royalty payments received to establish an instructional resource fund for the psychology program. These funds are earmarked to cover the cost of instructional resources, such as equipment and books, that are requested by the psychology department.
