More Gardens Fund

The More Gardens Fund is a diverse coalition committed to enhancing and preserving community gardens, farms and fallow lands in New York City and State. Rooted in earth-based art and education, they generate wellness through educational programs and initiatives such as the Rise Up and Feed the Bronx Family Programming, which creates individual and group leadership skills for Bronx children. They also have an Upstate Farmland & Retreat Initiative, where they acquired a ten-year lease on 8 acres of land in the Southern Catskills to set up their Free Nature and Farming Programs.
