Program areas at Mother of Incarnate Wisdom House of Prayer
The marian servants of the Incarnate Wisdom (msiw) provides financial support to our founding community, our lady of divine providence House of Prayer which includes maintenance of retreat facilities, House of Prayer, and school of spiritual direction located in clearwater, fl. In addition, msiw provides financial assistance to priests who attend the school of spiritual direction for continued formation, as well as individuals with a calling to become spiritual directors. Msiw also supports the cardinal's circle of the archdiocese of galveston/houston, which provides for funding for inner city catholic schools.
Msiw provides retreats for underprivileged junior high students in catholic inner schools. Expenses to sponsor the retreats include facility rent, meals, materials and supplies, crafts, etc. Msiw also provides retreats and formtion conferences for adults, including guest speaker expenses.
Msiw provides weekly formation for its membership (approx 25), which includes rental of facilities, supplies, speaker stipends, and conferences expenses to facilite its mission. These expenses are partially offset by fees collected for sponsored events and conferences.
